Proceedings viewing issues

Firefox, and Google Chrome do not, by default, support links (eg to papers, authors list etc) in their default pdf viewer.

This can be fixed in Firefox by

• Going to firefox OPTIONS.
• In firefox 29.0.1, please do the following: – Tools menu -> Options – in the Options dialog, select “Applications” panel
•  You will see a list showing content-type on the left and a corresponding Action on the right. – scroll down to find content-type = “Portable Document Format (PDF)” and set it to “use Adobe Acrobat in Firefox”. DO NOT use the setting of “preview in Firefox” because it will cause exactly the problem you have seen.

 In google chrome browser there will be an equivalent setting to force use of Adobe Acrobat instead of chrome’s internal preview, which does not support links.
